One-On-One Coaching

We can do coaching sessions in my office if you’re in the Washington, DC area, or by Skype or phone if you’re out of town. Through coaching, you’ll make the specific-to-your-situation connections that will help you (or your daughter) change your relationship (or hers) to food and body – for good. This isn’t about another diet or deprivation, but understanding how specific foods affect the brain, body and moods; and shifting your mindset and your lifestyle so they support you in living the vibrant, healthy life you desire. You will not only understand why you’ve made the choices you have in past but what, specifically, you can do differently now. Coaching offers insightful ideas based on YOUR specific concerns PLUS very practical, hands-on experiences from hitting the grocery store together, to devising meal ideas and plans, to practicing mindful eating, and so much more!

Retreats

Sometimes you and your daughter just need to call “time-out” to really connect with each other and learn new ways of nourishing your bodies, minds and spirits. Our mom-daughter retreats are truly delicious – a very kind-to-you way of slowing the pace and learning some new skills in a warm, supportive, nurturing environment with other women and girls.

And – new this year – we have created “women only” retreats – a chance for you to create some space from your busy life and long to-do lists and make time for YOU. A well-nourished mom can offer so much more to her family, and these retreats are a wonderful opportunity to get your YUMMINESS back on track. Dishing With Your Daughter retreats are a day, a weekend or longer.

Workshops For Moms: Curb Your Cravings

These in-person workshops are designed to give you and your daughter a healthy taste of true nourishment! They generally involve hands-on cooking, connecting and activities that help girls learn about caring for their one-of-a-kind bodies.  In a world where we are often taught that how we look matters most, these workshops remind girls that their bodies – and their minds – need and deserve love and appreciation, and that their beauty will radiate from within once they learn how to honor themselves.
